George H. Wissmiller

for YOUR representative to the

Illinois House of Representatives

for the 87th District

Exercise your right to vote - vote in this and every election!

Here's why.

I firmly believe that America has best government, the best people and greatest lifestyle in the world. The best now - the best ever! We do a lot of things right, and we need to understand what they are and keep on doing them right.

But we're not perfect. I also firmly believe that we have some serious problems - especially here in Illinois - that need to be addressed now, before they get worse.
Are You:

Tired of "business as usual" politics? - I am.
Tired of government corruption? - I am!
Tired of patching up government rather than fixing it? - I am.
Tired of runaway government spending? - I am!
Tired of unresponsive government? - I am.
Tired of inaccessible government? - I am.
Tired of empty "campaign promises"? - I am.
Tired of meaningless "campaign reform"? - I am.
Tired of endless stalling and excuses? - I am.
Tired of confusing presentations of issues? - I am.
Tired of all the gridlock? Tired of making no progress? - I am!
TIRED OF THIS LIST GOING ON AND ON, DECADE AFTER DECADE?
I certainly am!
I believe we have the tools available to us as citizens now to make the practical, realistic, and compassionate changes we need. My goals as your representative will be:

    1) Change those things that either don't work well or don't work at all.
    2) Work hard to preserve the whole that does work well.
    3) Address the specific issues of the people of District 87 now.
    4) Work hard to make government more transparent.
    5) Work hard to make the Illinois state government more responsive to your wishes.

As we increase transparency and responsiveness, other solutions become clearer and more easily attainable.

These things can, in fact, be done. We do, in fact, have the necessary tools.

I don't pretend that I have all the answers, or even most of the answers. But I believe that WE have most of the answers. And I will be soliciting your ideas both before and (with your help) after this election, so I can better advocate for you. If you would like to find out more, please CONTINUE

Our Fallen Heroes -
Past, Present and Future.

Some hated the wars they fought.
Many were uncertain why they fought.

They fought not for causes or policies
They fought not for personal glory

They fought for their families,
their friends, their communities.

They fought for the American People,
the American way of life.

Things we understand.

We owe them our eternal gratitude.

You and I
can honor that debt
by improving our country
for the people they love.
